Gigantex carbon rims range in stock:
Tubulars:
20mm 3K matte finish, 38mm 3K or 12K gloss finish, 50mm UD Ultralite with basalt braking surface, 50mm 3K matte & 88mm 3K matte.
50mm 3K gloss. Very strong for heavier riders and bad roads. 28/32h version also available.
Clinchers:
These clinchers are "bombproof". Testimonials always delight us. From 60kg riders to 120kg riders, they are as sure-footed as any alloy rim. A pair was used to set the Danish 24hr record, another customer shattered his frame over potholes without any damage to the wheels and another guy uses the 50mm rims on his 44kg fully loaded touring bike!
Supplied with 16g rim-tapes and pads. Max pressures allowable 130psi - enough for anyone.
20mm 3K gloss finish, 38mm 3K gloss finish & 50mm 3K gloss finish.
50mm UD matte finish are special order hand-laid finish.

321g pairs in black or white 20/24h with quality Japanese bearings. Novatec have finally gone superlight at a bargain price! See Wheelprices page for details. (These are NOT the same as PlanetX Superlight hubs which are heavier and use standard bearings and do not have the drilled-out flange and 79g front hub).
Chris King R45 Swift hubs. Legendary quality just made lighter and road-specific. 320g pair. Big bearings, Chris King reliability and backup. These should last a few changes of rims over the years.
Carbon-Ti hubs. Big, oversized shells and Japanese bearings with a beautiful finish and easy bearing adjustment. 79g front and 210g rear. Road tested on LEJOG with 50mm 360g carbon rims. 1200g pair! Treat yourself! Shimano only for now. ____________________________________________________
